Burlington, Co. was established in the 1880’s, the community was built to support the railroad. As agriculture began to boom in the region, Burlington quickly became the commerce capitol of the area. The community is a trade center for many of the region's activities including agriculture, cattle, medical, education and recreation.
If you happen to have your fishing pole along, try your hand at catching a walleye or other warm-water fish. Better yet, bring your boat or try your hand at windsurfing - there's plenty of wind out here.
