Description: The Virginia Dale Community Club will have their 22nd Annual Open House on Saturday, June 10, 2017, from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. at the historic Virginia Dale Stage Station. Admission is free. Donations of work gloves or canned foods for Harvest Farm in Wellington would be greatly appreciated. This fundraiser will support the restoration and maintenance of the 1862 Stage Station and 1909 Hurzeler house. Abraham Lincoln, portrayed by Bruce Spear, will speak at 11 A.M. and 2 P.M. There will be displays of inventions from 1he 1800's, many booths with local artisans, games for kids, and other activities. Lunch will be served from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Cash and checks will be accepted. The Stage Station is located 4 miles south of the Wyoming border on U.S. HWY 287. Turn east onto County Road 43F and go left at the "Y" in the road for one mile to the Stage Station. Call 970 568 7646 for more information.
