60% of nursing home elders receive NO personal visitors, except for the Bessie’s Hope volunteers of all ages. Youth from at-risk programs and residential treatment centers find meaning and purpose. Elders and youth feel valued and needed through Bessie’s Hope programs.

Run, walk, or roll to make a difference! Form a team and make an even greater impact. Prizes awarded for race winners per age category. Raise $100 and over in pledges and be entered into drawings for great prizes, such as 2 nights at Marriott Suites ($400 value!).

Silent Auction, Live music, Interesting Vendors, Games and Fun Activities for Kids and Adults during and after race. Great Family Event! (Kids under 10 free) Check-in/Registration and Silent Auction begin at 7:00 a.m. / Runners start promptly at 8:00 followed by walkers and rollers.

This is a fundraiser. While the registration fee is $25 ($30 with t-shirt) and $30 the day of the event ($35 with t-shirt), participants are requested to gather pledges. Registration fee is waived by raising pledges. You may register online and pay with credit card, or “click” that you will be bringing your pledge form to check-in.
