"ColoradoTown.com KEYWORD Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center"

Travel back in time at the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center, a 20,000-square-foot museum of which 12,000 feet are dedicated to dinosaur displays, located in Woodland Park, Colorado. The RMDRC features fossils from North America's Cretaceous Period including marine reptiles, pterosaurs, dinosaurs, a working fossil lab viewable by visitors, children's play area and hands-on educational activities...please watch the video below.

The fossil skeletons on display are supplemented with vibrant graphics and life restoration sculptures to help you visualize these fascinating animals and the environments in which they lived. Visitors can read the stories of each specimen and view a working fossil laboratory where important recently discovered specimens are being freed from their rock matrix and undergoing restoration. Every year members of our staff venture into the field to discover and excavate Cretaceous period fossils. We have made some remarkable discoveries such as the most complete Pteranodon specimen, the most complete Pachycephalosaurus specimen, and one of the largest Tylosaurs ever discovered – just to name a few.
