City of Montrose, Green Waste Recycling Program City residents can participate in the program free of charge by dropping off green waste at the Green Waste Drop Off Center to be initially located at North Park and North San Juan Avenue. The center will be open Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The site will be in operation from May 1st thru October 15th. An attendant will be available during hours of operation to assist those dropping off green waste and to ensure that only the proper materials are left at the site.
