CELEBRATE THE 4TH OF JULY WITH SOME GREAT FAMILY EVENTS



June 29, 2012 – (Greeley, CO) – Looking for some fun family entertainment this 4th of July? Look no further…there’s always something great going on in Greeley! After the Greeley Stampede Independence Day Parade, why not cool off at the Greeley Ice Haus then head to Discovery Bay Waterpark or Centennial Pool!


The Ice Haus has a special deal Wednesday, July 4 from 12-1:30pm – only $4 per person and it includes skate rental! The day includes exhibitions by Mountain View Skating Club, field day games and a free 30-minute group lesson by their certified instructors from 12:30-1pm. Then stop by one of Greeley’s great outdoor pools! Go to either Discovery Bay Waterpark (715 E. 24th Street) or Centennial Pool (23rd Avenue & Reservoir Road) and get $1 off admission. Both locations offer slides, splash pads and are open from 1-5pm.


The Splash Parks will be open on July 4th from 1-3pm as well and they are FREE! Sunrise Splash Park is located at 4th Ave & 12th St and Island Grove Splash Park is at 14th Ave & A Street — why not stop by to cool off before you head into the Stampede! The Family FunPlex, Greeley Recreation Center, Greeley Senior Activity Center and Rodarte Community Center will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of the holiday.
