Description: The La Veta School of the Arts is offering a 2-day workshop in Digital Photography August 4 and 5. Instructor Paul Biron has been photographing the natural world for 40 years. His camera helps him connect with the spirit of the things he loves most: wildlife and scenic beauty. He has won many awards and you may visit his website at www.photo.sparrow-hawk.org. Paul's class will introduce students to types of camera and lenses, exposure, lighting and composition. This is a hands-on experience so bring your camera and manual, lenses, and tripod (if you have one). Film, as well as digital, shooters are welcome. NOTE: this workshop will NOT cover digital processing, that is covered in Processing and Managing Digital Photographs workshop August 11-12). Class will be held at The La Veta School of the Arts -- across from town park in La Veta.
