Girl Scouting is an informal education program for all girls ages 5-17. With caring adult mentors, girls build courage, confidence and character. Age-specific activities include sports, fitness, math & science, camping, crafts, community service, and much more. Girls discover the world and their own potential, develop leadership skills, and find their voice to act on issues they care about. Annual dues are $10; financial assistance is available. Call for information on how your girl can grow strong in Girl Scouting.

Girl Scouts-Mountain Prairie Council is part of Girl Scouts USA, the world's preeminent organization for girls. Today, as when it was founded in 1912, Girl Scouting helps cultivate values, social conscience and self-esteem in young girls, while teaching them critical life skills. Through an all girl environment, and with positive adult role models girls discover the fun, friendship and power of girls together. Our Mission: To inspire girls with the highest ideals of character, conduct, patriotism, and service. Open to all girls ages 5-17 or grades K-12. Promise Partners is an organization for "grown up" Girl Scouts. Anyone over 18 who was ever involved in Girl Scouting as a girl or adult is invited to participate. In addition, adult volunteers are always welcome.
